This large, authentic detached Hungarian farmhouse is ideal for those people who really love nature and quite surroundings, without any stress, rural live and forests. Deer are only prevented from running through your private garden, by the fence! This house is perfectly fit for people that do not need disco's and lots of tourists around to enjoy their holiday, without at the same time being "isolated". The house is located in a small village called Várong. There is one village-shop providing all daily necessities like bread, fruit, vegetables etc. And there is one small Panzió (boarding house) and a small fishing lake/pond. The tourist region of Lake Balaton (Siofok) with many tourist facilities is about 40 minutes from here. The house is easily accessible on the edge of the village along a paved road, which only leads into woods and fields behind the village.
The house has been tastefully renovated in 2005, among others equipped with a new bathroom and kitchen. There is a passage made from the house to the former detached stable, which has been changed into a living room. The liveable surface of the house is more than 85 square meters (915 square feet). The house has two bedrooms (both about 16 square meter / 175 square feet). In the bedroom in front of the house (with a beautiful view over the fields and forests), there is a double bed, in the other bedroom is a single bed and a children's bed. (Note: it is intended for the summer vacations to place instead of the single bed bunk beds. Please ask us about the actual situation in case of reservation). In the spacious dining room there is a comfortable 2-persons sofabed. There is a large living room (more than 20 square meter / 215 square feet) with a beamed ceiling, equipped with all techniques as the cable TV, complete stereo etc. A spacious all-new kitchen with an integrated dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, water-cooker, a 4 burner-gas-stove, hood, etc. The bathroom is completely new and equipped with toilet, shower and sink and a washing machine.
Your holiday home is equipped cosy and comfortable. All the rooms are on the ground floor. There is more than enough space for 5-6 adults. There are enough CDs, books and magazines for your use as well. And for the little ones, there are a numerous games in the house. There is a large (2,300 square meter / 25,000 square feet) idyllic situated garden, where many songbirds all day long. We saw among other hoopoe, golden oriole, goldfinch, woodpeckers, an eagle owl (!) etc. The veranda is covered by grapevines. There is directly connected to the veranda a terrace, which is also surrounded by grapes and roses. There are fruit trees (pear, walnut) and wine (grapes). There is enough garden furniture of course. Your parking is on own land. This is a non-smokers-house, pets are not allowed.
