Indications and contraindications

Bath cures do not have any side effects with correct application. Nevertheless it is to be asked appropriately before each cure the family doctor after the appropriate cure and the correct duration. A thermal bath is not miracle drug. With certain diseases no results could be obtained, in some cases bath cure should not be done. In addition one should know that bathing prepares a pleasant time and is a possibility of the recovery, however with serious complaints you only will have any success in case of the bath treatment has a duration of several weeks. That is not to mean however that shorter stays would be generally not be worthy in health resorts. Even a brief stay can have preventive effects. As for all welfare methods there are indications and contraindications also for the bath therapy.
Indications

Thermal water is used in Hungary predominantly for bath cures, partially in addition for drinking cures, generally for treatment of
    • Chronic and degenerative illnesses of the movement organs in inactive stages
    • Chronic spinal column and joint inflammations
    • After treatment of accidents
    • After operations of joints

General contraindications
  • algemeen Generally bad state of health
  • Heart insufficiency
  • Chronic hypersonic
  • Cardiac infarct, which arose within six months
  • Tumefaction diseases
  • Tuberculoses
  • Pregnancy
  • Inflammatory phases of the wear illnesses of the movement organs.

Note : Principally you must not try to cure illnesses of what kind ever with bath cures without advice of a medical specialist! Ask your family doctor of the bath doctor as you prefer. This should also decide about the duration, kind and frequency of the treatment. Also in Hungary you will find enough medical personal that is able to speak English!
